Elizabeth Shields, LMFT

With over a decade of experience working with children, adults, and families in a variety of circumstances, Elizabeth believes people have the internal strength and skills they need to make their lives better, and enjoys working with clients who are ready to make changes. Her training as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) has taught her how family systems interact and affect the way we live. She describes herself as a “solution focused” therapist, who excels at collaborating with her clients. “People change when they gain insight and make shifts in their mindsets that allow them to reframe issues and change how they view the world,” Elizabeth writes. Clients have cited her strengths in areas such as: asking great questions; providing a supportive counseling environment; connecting with them through her kind spirit; helping them move forward in their lives.
