Katherine specializes in working with children (ages 7+), teenagers, and adults of all ages. She brings over a decade of clinical experience to her practice, which has included work with clients of many backgrounds dealing with with anxiety, depression, PTSD, perinatal mood disorders, students, transitions of all kinds, grief, and parenting issues.

Katherine creates a true safe space for her clients. They report feeling supported and listened to, and say that they learn how to be compassionate towards themselves—learning about why they feel the way that they do.
Her theoretical approach to therapy is eclectic; she helps clients gain insight by exploring their emotions and how they respond to or cope with them. She helps clients learn to be curious about their experiences and emotions. Her approach includes art therapy and expressive therapy techniques—this entails approaching client concerns with creativity and curiousity.
In her free time, she enjoys making art, painting, printmaking, knitting, hiking, bike riding, baking, drinking coffee, and attempting to be a gardener.
For Insurance Katherine is in network with: Kaiser Permanente, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence, OHP through Yamhill County (YCCO) and PacificSource Health Plans.
