Greg Douglas, LPC, is an experienced marriage and family therapist who has recently joined our team! Greg believes that most people were not raised with the skills needed to be successful in their adult relationships, and has a passion for working with couples who are looking to improve their relationships. He specializes in helping couples improve their communication, lessen conflict, recover from affairs/betrayals, and build stronger, more connected bonds. His approach to therapy incorporates insight, understanding, educating, and modeling what healthy communication and connection looks like.
Greg’s other area of specialization is working with men and the issues facing them. He enjoys helping men build self-esteem, find a work/life balance, navigate relationship issues, and find the confidence they need to succeed in all areas of life.
Greg has been trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) as well as Relational Life Therapy (RLT). Both types of therapy have been specifically designed to help couples improve their relationships.
Many of Greg’s couples counseling clients have said that working with him was different than many of the other couples therapists they have seen because he helps them understand the reason they are stuck and helps them find new and more productive ways to relate to one another.
In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He likes spending time outdoors, playing tennis and golf, and reading.
